Is my Parquet file uploaded when converting to CSV?
No. The Parquet to CSV converter runs entirely in your browser. Files are parsed and converted locally with JavaScript/WebAssembly and never sent to any server.
How large can a Parquet file be?
You can convert reasonably large Parquet files, but extremely large datasets are limited by your browser's memory and CPU. For very big files, it is safer to split them into several Parquet files and convert them separately.
Will nested or complex types still be converted?
Columns with nested objects or arrays are converted to JSON-like text in the CSV cells so that their structure is preserved as much as possible.
What CSV delimiter is used?
By default the tool uses a comma as the CSV delimiter, but you can also choose semicolon or tab to match your target system.
